A popular skin bundle from Valorant is back. The original Ion skin bundle was released years ago, and it has been a hit ever since. With slick, futuristic aesthetic and clean lines, this skin has remained relevant. The first time Valorant Ion skin bundle was released in November 2022.
Currently, Riot Games is preparing to introduce the Valorant Ion 2.0 skin bundle. The new collection will include skins for new weapons. The popular skin line has been highly coveted by fans ever since it was released by Reaver. The Ion collection has been one of the most popular collections in the game since its release. Due to its stylish appearance, sci-fi visuals, and lightweight feel, Phantom players highly recommend Ion.
Riot Games are expected to release Valorant Ion 2.0 skin bundle with beautiful variants on October 18. When Episode 5 Act 3 launches, Ion 2.0 will be the first skin to step into the Valorant store. New bundles are usually released a day after an Act is launched.
In a “New Era” trailer, Riot Games revealed the Ion 2.0 bundle, also known as the Ion 2022 bundle, which features skins for the Vandal, Ares, Spectre, Frenzy, as well as a Karambit Melee in the signature Ion style. In the original Ion bundle, skins were available for Operators, Phantoms, Buckys, Sheriffs, and melees.
Ion 2022 will not only feature new skins for other weapons, it will also include color variants for all of the skins. With the Vandal, Ares, Spectre, or Frenzy, players can keep their iconic white look with a blue accent, or choose from three other color options: blue, green, or yellow.
In terms of pricing, players can expect the new bundle to cost 7,100 VALORANT points, or roughly $70, just like the previous Ion bundle, which is a Premium weapon skin bundle. A gun buddy, a player card, and a spray are included with the Ion 2022 bundle.
Ion will join the likes of other iconic skin lines such as Prime, RGX 11z Pro, Glitchpop, and Reaver as single collections that have received multiple bundles with the new bundle set to be added. On Oct. 18 2022, Ion 2.0 Bundle will be released with Episode Five, Act Three, featuring a new controller agent, Harbor.
