A new Valorant skin bundle set has been revealed, namely the Kohaku and Matsuba bundles. Here’s everything players need to know about the bundles so far!
Riot has made its name launching some incredible skin bundles over the years. The game studio has kept up its name with the latest bundle, the Kohaku and Matsuba skin bundles. Like the Nunca Olvidados bundle, the upcoming bundle too is going to honor a specific culture and its heritage.
The Kohaku and Matsuba bundles are based on Japanese culture and heritage. Kohaku means ‘amber’ in Japanese while Matsuba is used to indicate a ‘red koi’ with black pinecone patterns in the scales along the back.
Here’s a complete rundown of everything that is known about the upcoming Kohaku and Matsuba skin bundles in Valorant so far.
Valorant Kohaku and Matsuba skin bundles
The Kohaku and Matsuba skin bundles will release between the 8th and 9th September, depending on which region players are from. The collection features Aka Matsuba swimming in clear water and showcases two different variants: the Base variant and the Dark variant. As the names suggest, the Base variant is white in color while the Dark variant is black.
Valorant players can get their hands on the following items with the Kohaku and Matsuba skin bundles.
- Melee (Equilibrium)
- Classic
- Judge
- Phantom
- Operator
Players must note that the bundle does not have a finisher or variants. However, an animation level might make its way into the game with this skin bundle.
Valorant players can purchase the skin bundle for a price of 5100 Valorant points. While the weapon skins each cost around 1275 Valorant points, the Melee can be obtained for 2550 VP.
Valorant Kohaku and Matsuba Bundles – Release Date
While many believed that the Kohaku and Matsuba bundle would only appear in the game after the departure of the Champions bundle, that might not be the case. Therefore, players can get their hands on the upcoming bundle much before 21st September, which is when the Champions bundle makes its way out of Valorant.
Players can get their hands on the Kohaku Matsuba skin bundle in Valorant between the 8th and 9th September, depending on the region they belong to. The list below sheds light on the various release dates and times of the skin bundle based on different regions.
- North America: 8th September 1:00 PM PST
- Europe: 8th September 3:00 PM CST
- Southeast Asia: 9th September 2:30 AM IST
Fans must bear in mind that these are the standard times for release in each specified region for Valorant updates. However, if Riot cannot release the skin bundle at this specific time, fans will receive prior notice. Although, the chances of such an event taking place are quite unlikely.
