Valorant Viper Nerf is here and changed the way this game might be played.
Valorant Viper Nerf is the latest update that Valorant is getting regarding this character. There was no outright announcement that the developers have put out when releasing this patch for Viper. Viper is one of the most common and most played characters since Valorant was released. Four years after his release this update was something people were looking out for and it shows as there was no announcement and this nerf was a subtle change in the gameplay.
Valorant Viper Nerf affects her whole kit. This means that the abilities such as full gas, Viper wall, the order only lasts for 13 seconds. Initially used to last for 15 seconds but the silent love made sure that 2 seconds were reduced from the time limit. Subtle changes like this balance the gameplay and it’s not necessary for the developers to off and mention this enough or market it as much as possible.
When it comes to balancing characters in any kind of a multiplayer game it is extremely hard for developers to make sure none of the characters are overpowered or underutilized. This is one of those examples where Viper might be a really strong character and the developers realized it over time from the gameplay and the community complaining about Viper. Viper has one of the best abilities in the game when it comes to defending and zone control. This Valorant Viper nerf might be a tipping point in scales of battles and also help balancing the game issues.
The newest update might not only include the Valorant Viper Nerf but also certain changes like bug fixes and other issues that the game might be missing. Since the developers did not reveal the nerf that piper received it might not be a very big deal for the gameplay balances. We think it’s the developer’s choice not to market this as eventually players will figure it out and start using Viper again or for players who think Viper is underpowered right now, they might stop using the character.
This Valorant Viper Nerf might not be the only balancing changes we get to characters, so players need to keep a lookout for other characters soon.
