Vanessa Cornejo Urbieta a.k.a Vanessa Bryant was born on 5th May 1982 in Los Angeles, California. She was raised by her single mother Sofia Laine and at a very young age by the 1990s, Vanessa started fending for her own. She is of mixed descent – Irish, English, Mexican, and German.

From his freshman year, he became an active basketball player and after high-school graduation, he entered the NBA. In his 20 active years as a basketball player, Bryant played for the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA.
He met Vanessa in the years when he was trying out his musical career, and Vanessa had been 17. The discreet couple fell in love and soon were married with four children. Inspite of a few ups and downs, the couple stuck through and together founded The Kobe and Vanessa Bryant Foundation.
Sadly, in 2020, Kobe and his daughter, Gianna died in an unfortunate helicopter crash.

Kobe Bryant and Vanessa Laine first met in the November of 1999 and soon a relationship between the two kindled. Only within 6 months, the two got engaged and by 2001 they were married. They had a somewhat happy and successful marriage, however, when Kobe Bryant was accused of raping a 19-year-old, she tried to stick through but filed for a divorce.
However later on both the divorce file and rape suit were dropped when he owned up and apologized profusely to the accuser and having believed the encounter was consensual. To Vanessa, he apologized with a grand gesture gifting her an apology ring.
The couple in their course of marriage became parents to four children and were a happy close-knit family. The name of their children are Gianna Maria-Onore Bryant, Natalia Diamante Bryant, Capri Kobe Bryant, and Bianka Bella Bryant.
Sadly in 2020, he passed away in a helicopter crash along with his daughter Gianna. In spite of the terrible shock, Vanessa Bryant carries on with the family on her shoulders, continuing her modeling career and their family foundation, along with fulfilling her late husband’s wishes.
