Victoria Career
Victoria began her career in bodybuilding by participating in fitness competitions. She won the ESPN2’s Fitness America Series in 1997 and also the Miss Galaxy Competition in 1998.
She met WWF wrestler Chyna when she used to be a trainer at the gym Church Fitness. Chyna encouraged her to become a wrestler and began training at the UPW.
She made her on-screen debut in the WWF on August 7, 2000, as the Godfather’s “hos,” but she was soon removed from the television, making her go to several independent wrestling units like MCW OVW.
Varon returned to WWE as Victoria on July 7, 2002, in a segment with Trish Stratus. In her first pay-per-view match at No Mercy, she defeated Trish and went to win the WWE Women’s Champion for the first time by again defeating Stratus.
Victoria was a part of the first woman steel match in WWE history where she went up against Lita and even defeated her at WWE Judgement day PPV.
Victoria won her second women championship on a fatal four-way match against Holly, Lit, and Jazz. She was also challenged by Holly at WrestleMania XX in a hair vs. title match, which apparently Victoria won and shaved Holly’s head.
Varon was drafted to SmackDown and played several matches there for around two years before being released by WWE. Her last game was against Michelle McCool in 2009. She gave a farewell to the staff at ringside.
She signed a contract with Total Impact Wrestling on May 4, 2009, Tara’s ring name. She became a five-time TNA Knockouts Champion and also a one-time TNA Knockouts Tag-Team Champion with TnT.
After her TNA contract was over, she appeared for several independent circuits like FWE, Ring of Honor, MCW, Chikara, MORE, House of Hardcore and even showed her interest in the recent AEW.
