Emil Ruusuvuori
After getting off to a flying start this season with a run to the semifinals at Melbourne and finishing second best at the Maharashtra Open, Ruusuvuori went on a dry spell where she lost in the first rounds in various tournaments. Some of his best results were reaching the quarterfinals in a couple of tournaments – the BMW Open and the Queen’s Club Championships.

Lorenzo Sonego
The Italian tennis pro has blown hot and cold this season. In a year filled with more misses than hits, Sonego’s best result came in the Moselle Open in Metz. He defeated the likes of Sebastian Korda, Hubert Hurkacz, and Alexander Bublik en route to winning the tournament. Sonego played some fine tennis throughout the tournament and ended up winning it without dropping a set.
The 27-year-old is coming into the Vienna Open on a three-match losing streak. He most recently played in the Tennis Napoli Cup and lost in the first round against Sebastian Baez in straight sets.
Head-to-Head and Prediction

Prediction: Emil Ruusuvuori to win in three sets.
