Israel Adesanya made quite an entrance for his fight against Jared Cannonier at UFC 276 walking out to the theme song of The Undertaker
UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya made his fifth successful title defense today at UFC 276. He outclassed and outpointed Jared Cannonier in a slightly underwhelming contest. Although the fight did not live up to everyone’s expectation, it was Izzy’s groundbreaking entrance that was the talk of the town.
WWE superstar The Undertaker’s ‘Graveyard Symphony’ theme song is one of the most iconic in the company’s history. It envelopes the dead man gimmick perfectly, and WWE fans look forward to watching each and every sequence of the chilling entrance, every time he makes the walk inside the squared circle.
Ahead of UFC 276, Izzy had said that he’s channeling his dark side particularly for this fight. Although he kept the curtains draped on his entrance, he surprised everyone when he made one of the best octagon walkouts ever. Fans salivated and expressed their appreciation for Adesanya’s star power and showmanship.
The UFC commentary booth went off for a few moments as they gasped in the historic entrance they were witnessing live. Adesanya scored a unanimous decision victory against Jared Cannonier.
PlayStation released a new trailer for their video game Elden Ring, which features none other than the UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya. Elden Ring is a 2022 action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It was directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki and made in collaboration with the fantasy novelist George R. R. Martin, who provided material for the setting.
In the video, ‘The Last Stylebender’ describes how one’s mentality decides the fate of their person. The middleweight champion is a huge fan of music, art, anime and games. This is what he had to say in the trailer-
“Think you know strength? Think you have the endurance or the focus to conquer Titans? Because I do. I’ve done it. You see, power is nothing without the mind to control it. A king is not crowned without first slaying his demons! So, when you fall, don’t lose faith. Get back up. Be sharper than your swords and hit harder than their hammer. And may death never stop you.”
