MMA fights often end in brilliant fashion. A knockout or a submission gets the crowd going and Yusuke Yachi did just that at Bellator 237.
Although the 29-year-old Japanese wasn’t part of the main event but he possibly had the best knockout and win of the night.
Yachi was up against Hiroto Uesako at the Saitama Super Arena. The Japanese star had a record of 20-9 coming into the match but certainly showcased his incredible abilities in this duel.
He seemed set for the win even before his incredible KO as his opponent was bleeding. However, another punch brought Uesako down and Yachi quickly moved in for the kill.
The 29-year-old kicked his opponent in the style of a footballer, and the referee quickly ended the match.
Yachi went about celebrating wildly as this was his first Bellator fight, while Uesako needed a lot of attention from the doctors.
The ending of the match was incredible as you don’t see MMA stars go in for the kill with their feet.
Yachi also broke his three-match losing streak and now has a record of 21-9. Uesako, however, falls down to 18-9 but we doubt if he has any recollection of this fight or the ending too.
It will be interesting to see when Yachi is back in action, and hopefully, he has some killer kicks coming up too.
Rampage Jackson was one of the main draws at this Bellator event, but he went down to Fedor Emelianenko in the first round itself.
