Max Verstappen posted a couple of workout videos ahead of the 2020 campaign
Dutch driver Max Verstappen is preparing himself for a gruelling 2020 season and posted a couple of workout videos recently.
The Red Bull racer is one of the best in the paddock but his machine hasn’t always been at his level. The first half of the previous campaign was tough for the 22-year-old but he still ended the season with three wins to his name.
Verstappen finished third in the campaign, but he, and Red Bull, will be aiming for more ahead of the new season.
In the video, Verstappen is seated and is holding a weight, akin to his steering wheel.
One video also shows some stress on his head and neck, thanks to his trainer, which possibly replicates the G-forces a racer has to deal with during a Grand Prix.

The Dutch driver seems determined to make it a better season in 2020 but taking on the might of Mercedes will be a tough task.
Verstappen’s battles ahead
The 22-year-old also has to worry about the threat from Ferrari. The Scuderia were inconsistent in the previous campaign but Charles Leclerc had some great duels with Verstappen.
Red Bull’s engine makers, Honda, also saw much better performances in the second half of the season and they need to cut the gap to Ferrari and Mercedes.
However, Verstappen believes in the team having signed a new deal recently. The 22-year-old can only get better in the coming seasons.
The Dutch driver has been extremely aggressive in his drives early on in races, but things were different last season.
