Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Conor McGregor might go down as the biggest fight in the history of the UFC.
The pair slugged it out more than a year ago and it was the Russian that came out on top in that clash.
There was a lot of things said before the match and Nurmagomedov even attacked some of Conor’s people after the fight.
The Russian is back in action at UFC 249 but rare footage has been released of him watching McGregor in another clash.
The Irishman was taking on Jose Aldo at UFC 194 and won the clash after just 13 seconds. That enabled Conor to unify the UFC Featherweight and Nurmagomedov’s reaction said it all.
The Russian couldn’t believe what he had seen and had his hands on his head.
The current Lightweight Champion will be up against Tony Ferguson in his next fight.
Nurmagomedov has the longest undefeated streak in MMA with 28 wins from 28 fights.
After defeating McGregor, he defended his championship and unified the Lightweight title again. Dustin Poirier was his victim and it will be interesting to see how he does against Ferguson at UFC 249.
McGregor, for his part, hasn’t fought since the loss to Nurmagomedov but will also be back at UFC 246.
Who is Claressa Shields? The Boxer than Amanda Nunes could face in next fight
Who is Colby Covington? The Donald Trump supporter that got his jaw broken at UFC 245
The Irishman faces Donald Cerrone at the T-Mobile Arena, and it will be interesting to see if he returns to the UFC with a win under his belt.
