LeBron James’ eldest son Bronny recently turned 18, and it turns out that they had quite the birthday bash to celebrate it. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar roped in one of the biggest rappers on the planet Travis Scott to put in quite an energetic performance at his eldest son’s birthday celebration in a video that has gone viral since it surfaced on social media.

The four time NBA champion who has quite the reputation for being an ardent follower of hip hop invited the Houston rapper who has been one kingpin of the genre in recent years for his son’s birthday. And if Travis Scott is known for anything, it is his energetic live acts that make him an incredible performer – and he surely brought his energy to Bron’s birthday bash.

The clip of the “Astroworld” rapper’s performance at Bronny’s birthday bash went viral on social media since it surfaced and featured both Scott and Bron visibly hyped up at the party. As the pair raged on to one of Travis’ greatest hits in “SICKO MODE”, LeBron took his way out of the spotlight – letting his eldest son have all the attention on an important day of his life.

However, there is a feeling that Bronny is only getting his fair share of the spotlight, as he is edging towards his debut in the NBA sooner than ever.

The 18-year-old Bronny who stands at 6’3” turns out for the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers will be eligible to take part in the NBA Draft in 2024–meaning he has more than a decent chance to play with his father. At least that is what the father-son intends on doing.

My last year will be played with my son,” James told The Athletic’s Jason Lloyd at the 2022 NBA All-Star weekend. “Wherever Bronny is at, that’s where I’ll be. I would do whatever it takes to play with my son for one year. It’s not about the money at that point.
