The new challenges for Fortnite are here! Check out our guide on how to find and destroy Hiding Places in Fortnite.
There are numerous landmarks on the Fortnite map that may necessitate various types of battles. While sniping is simpler in steep terrain, in more congested places, players will have to engage in close-range combat.
Fortnite also has you covered if you want to take a more stealthy approach, as the terrain is littered with hiding spots. Dumpsters, haystacks, and any other sort of camouflage that may disguise a human-sized Fortnite avatar are some of these sites known as hiding places. Hide spots are easy to use because players only need to come close to them and press their interaction button to begin hiding.
Destroying Hiding Places in Fortnite
It’s simple to destroy a hiding place; all you have to do is take out your pickaxe and start hacking away at it until it’s gone. Finding the hidden spots is the most difficult part of this quest.
You can move out of a hiding place anytime once you’ve entered it. The challenge for Season One, which began with Chapter Three, requires players to destroy a hiding place, which can be tough to locate on the map if you’ve never used one before.
How to find Hiding Places in Fortnite
Dumpsters and Port-a-Potties are used as Fortnite Hiding Places all across the island. These hiding places are mostly found in built-up regions near buildings, and especially near Fortnite gas pumps in gas stations. Make sure you just look for dumpsters with open lids, as closed ones won’t count as Fortnite Hiding Places because you won’t be able to climb inside.
Although there are hiding places throughout the Chapter 3 map, some areas have more than others. Some of these locations are in high-risk drop zones, while others are safer and quieter. Here’s where they’re located:
- Greasy Grove
- Coney Crossroads
- Sleepy Sound
These aren’t precisely safe zones, although they do get a lot of traffic throughout most matches. While completing this task at Tilted Towers is easy, staying alive for long enough is tough. Fortnite is available for free on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, PC and mobile.
