Both star points and star levels are solely for cosmetics in Clash Royale. To upgrade star levels for a particular card, you require star points. And here are the best ways to get star points in Clash Royale.
- First, you need to reach King Tower Level 6
- Trade Tokens and other items to earn more Star Points
- Purchase max-level cards from Shop or get them from chests and quests
After meeting the requirements, you can get your star points from the XP bar by toggling it for the same. You can also get more star points got upgrading and donating cards in King Level below 50. In chests, you can get up to 1000 star points based on the card you pick.
- 1 Star Point for Common cards
- 10 Star Points for Rare cards
- 100 Star Points for Epic cards
- 1000 Star Points for Legendary cards
Once you earn enough star points, you can move to upgrade star levels and cosmetics for your favorite cards/deck. In Clash Royale, Cards with levels 7, 10, and 13 can be upgraded to all 3 Star Levels. And some of the cards can only be upgraded to level 1 or 2.
