WWE Commercial aired during the Super Bowl LVI
It was previously informed by PWInsider that multiple WrestleMania 38 commercials will air on Sunday during the Super Bowl LVI game.
WWE WrestleMania 38 commercial was up and running during the Super Bowl on Sunday night as a 15-second commercial hyping the season during the first half of the game. A more extended 30-second ad featuring similar highlights appeared during the pre-game special. It was paid for by Peacock, which is the home of all WWE premiere live events in the United States.
The first WrestleMania ads appeared at the Super Bowl in 1999. We have also noted that The Rock was featured in an opening video for the Super Bowl, and Batista was also featured in a Nissan commercial.
Sunday’s Super Bowl LVI game between the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals took place from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, where WrestleMania 39 will also be held in 2023.
The Rams won a close contest.
This week, Seth Rollins featured on Radio Row for Super Bowl LVI and spoke with Claibs Online (h/t Comic Book), where he was asked about WrestleMania 38, which will see Roman Reigns defend his title against Brock Lesnar. In addition, Rollins mentioned how he will also try to get involved in their storyline.
“I made my presence in a Brock/Roman match once before at WrestleMania, so who’s to say I couldn’t do it again,” Rollins said. “But who knows? We are roughly seven or eight weeks out from WrestleMania at this point now, and so, anything can happen between now and then.”
Rollins played his mind games quite well during this year’s Royal Rumble, where Reigns was driven to a point where he forced a disqualification on himself by refusing to let go of a Guillotine Choke.
Until now, two matches have been confirmed for WrestleMania 38 in April. First is Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship and Charlotte Flair vs Ronda Rousey for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
