Angel Garza picked up an injury at Clash of Champions and couldn’t finish his match

WWE star Angel Garza picked up an injury at WWE Clash of Champions which had a huge say in his match.

He was teamed up with Andrade and they took on the Raw tag champions, The Street Profits.

The pair were looking good during the final stages of the match to win the title. However, Garza seemed to have injured his leg after a move and was seen in pain.

The referee also made the “X” sign to signal that this was a legitimate injury and Garza was just about able to tag Andrade in.

Garza then rolled out of the ring and didn’t feature for the rest of the match. Andrade tried his best to claim the titles but the referee pulled a three-count, despite Andrade raising his hand.

Angelo Dawkins, who covered Andrade, was left confused with the finish and so was El Idolo.

However, Andrade could be seen checking out on his partner with a couple of officials as the Street Profits celebrated their win.

While the initial view seemed to suggest that Garza had injured his leg, PWI has reported that it seems to be related to his hip.

The report adds that Garza’s injury isn’t expected to be serious but further tests will take place in the coming days.

This will come as a bit of a blow to Garza as he and Andrade seemed to be on the same page tonight.

This is also the second such injury that a performer has picked up while in a tag match. Ivar, of the Viking Raiders, also was injured recently and posted an update about his recovery.

He went for a Viking dive in a tag match but was also seen hitting the “X” sign as soon as he landed.
