Former WWE star Eva Marie wasn’t allowed onto a Qantas business lounge due to her attire
Former WWE star Eva Marie was not impressed with Australian airline Qantas after she was refused entry into a business class lounge.
Marie, who was with the WWE for a few years before getting into fitness training, posted a series of tweets highlighting the incident.
The 35-year-old was travelling with her husband and had purchased business class tickets. However, upon arriving at the airport, she was refused entry to the lounge due to her attire.
Marie shared a few pictures of what she was wearing, which is a tracksuit, and that was deemed to be inappropriate for the business class lounge.
In 2020 @qantas airlines Melbourne won’t allow a woman holding a business class ticket to enter their business class lounge in active wear. My business IS fitness and an active lifestyle. Qantas prefers their women in a dress. #genderdiscrimination #qantas pic.twitter.com/j7XbvKvBrY

The former WWE star maintained that she was alright with the same standards applying to all, but her husband was allowed into the lounge wearing a T-shirt and shorts.
Clarification: This is NOT a dresscode issue, I support a businesses right to enforce equitable dresscode standards. However, My husband was allowed in no problem wearing this. While I was kicked out wearing this. My issue is that standards should be equitably enforced @Qantas pic.twitter.com/HSbLVc4W62

It is a little weird why Qantas was alright with her husband wearing shorts but they had a problem with what Marie was in.
What happened to Eva Marie after leaving WWE?
Marie was seen as one of the top stars in the women’s division when she broke into the scene.
However, she had some issues with the wellness policy at WWE and left in 2017.
Things have been pretty good for the former WWE star since leaving the promotion. She has appeared on Celebrity Big Brother and is now a leading fitness model who has own weekly shows on YouTube.
