Epic Games announced the Reboot Rally Fortnite event, which will offer free cosmetic items like wraps and pickaxes for players. Reboot Rally is a chance to show your friends what’s new in Fortnite, whether they’ve played for a long time or just started playing in Chapter 3 Season 4. In order to earn points for in-game rewards, you and the friends you’re playing with must complete Reboot Rally Quests and Bonus Goals.
So if you want to know how to participate in the Fortnite Reboot Rally Event and what are the challenges and rewards, then read this article till the end.
Fortnite Reboot Rally Event Time and Requirement
Any player who has played less than 2 hours of Fortnite in the 30 days prior to Chapter 3 Season 4 qualifies as a new player. Any player who has played more than 2 hours of Fortnite in the 30 days prior to Chapter 3 Season 4 qualifies as an active player. Reboot Rally started on September 19, 2022, and will be available till October 3, 2022.
How does it work?
To see the Reboot Rally section, open up the friend’s tab in the Lobby Sidebar. You can do this whether you’re an active player or a returning/new player. Active players can party up with returning/new friends to complete Reboot Rally quests and bonuses. You can party with active friends and fellow returning/new players to complete Quests and Bonus Goals if you’re a returning/new player.
As an alternative to partying right away is that you can also “rally” your friends.
How to Reboot Rally Quests and Bonus Goals
If the mode supports it, you can complete Reboot Rally Quests and Bonus Goals together with one, two, or three friends. You can find these Quests and Bonus Goals on the “Quests” page. If you wish to mix and match eligible friends when you party up with quests and bonus goals, you don’t have to complete them with the same friend.
On the “Quests” page, you can keep track of how many points you have earned and the rewards you can earn as you complete Reboot Rally quests and bonus goals together. You are able to earn these points and rewards in-game by completing Fortnite Reboot Rally Event quests together.
Fortnite Reboot Rally Event Rewards
You will get the following rewards in the Fortnite Reboot Rally Event rewards:
- 50 points: Barb-B-Q Emoticon
- 100 points: Freshly Forged Wrap
- 150 points: Red Hot Revenge Pickaxe
- 200 points: Fiery Descent Glider
Things to keep in mind
- When you’re an active player, you’ll be able to join the Reboot Rally with returning/new friends.
- In the Reboot Rally section, you’ll see active friends and fellow returning/new players you can party with if you’re a returning/new player.
- Participating requires an Epic Games account.
- In order to be eligible for “returning/new” players, you must have played at least 2 hours of Fortnite in the 30 days prior to Chapter 3 Season 4.
- In order to be eligible for ‘active” players, you must have played more than 2 hours of Fortnite in the 30 days prior to Chapter 3 Season.
- The Reboot Rally Quests and Bonus Goals require playing with returning/new friends or active friends, therefore they cannot be accomplished on your own.
- The rewards from the Reboot Rally are not exclusive because they can eventually become available for purchase in the Item Shop.
