Learn all about new WWE Day 1 PPV event
WWE’s first pay-per-view for next year has got a name already and it will be called WWE Day 1 PPV. WWE Day 1 is a new event that is being launched by the company early this year. This new show will include all the wrestlers from the RAW and SmackDown brands.
The inaugural event will be taking place on January 1, 2022 at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. This will also be the company’s first PPV event for the next year.
This idea was brought forward by WWE President Nick Khan in order to bring more unique and exclusive content for their streaming partner NBC during the holiday season.
It is also believed that tickets went up from sale from the month of August earlier this year and WWE expect to see the event as a full house.
There is a question mark whether NXT 2.0 Superstars will be taking part in this event. Nothing has been talked about it yet and it is believed that the event will be only for RAW and SmackDown wrestlers.
Ticket prices
Tickets for the event are already available to purchase and it has to be directly picked up from the State Farm Arena. The prices for the upper deck range from around $40 to $90.
The middle deck is priced between $80 to $200 and the ringside tickets start from $250 and go all the way up to $900.
Which stars can we see
WWE has yet not decided or announced which wrestlers will be on action that day. The storyline for the WWE Day 1 PPV is still confidential but it is believed that likes of WWE Champion Big E, Universal Champion Roman Reigns, RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and few other big names will all be part of the PPV event.
