We take a look at the record of undefeated UFC featherweight “Thug Nasty” Bryce Mitchell
UFC 272 is just a few weeks away and it features a featherweight bout between the undefeated, Bryce Mitchell and UFC veteran, Edson Barboza.
Bryce Mitchell is an American mixed martial artist who goes by the nickname ‘Thug Nasty’. His nickname is an ode to his superior grappling skills which is based on his foundation in jiu-jitsu. He first started training out of his garage and immediately made a name for him in the local grappling circuit.
Mitchell first made his UFC debut in The Ultimate Fighter: Undefeated Finale against Tyler Diamond. He entered the fight with a 9-0 record and won his 10th fight by unanimous decision.
Currently, he has four wins in the UFC after the company signed him after the Ultimate Fighter season. His overall record stands at an impressive 14-0 with his last win coming against the experienced Andre Fili.
Bryce Mitchell took to social media recently to express his distress over famous comedian Trevor Noah’s comments and wants to fight him.
Trevor Noah made some contentious comments about the truck driver situation in Canada. He received a lot of flak for his comments and it also ignited the idea of a celebrity fight in Mitchell’s mind.
Mitchell wrote on Instagram,“sumone tag this fool trevor noah. lettem kno i wanna do a charity fite. haha it would b funnier than any of that crap he said on comedy central thats for sure. since hes an entertainer mayb hell take this grand opportunity. and no i dont hate him i just wanna give him a feel of how hard the average workin man hits. he wouldnt b so quick to make fun of us. and God bless yall fitin for our freedoms”
