UFC 272 is just a few weeks away and it features a featherweight bout between the undefeated, Bryce Mitchell and UFC veteran, Edson Barboza.

Bryce Mitchell is an American mixed martial artist who goes by the nickname ‘Thug Nasty’. His nickname is an ode to his superior grappling skills which is based on his foundation in jiu-jitsu. He first started training out of his garage and immediately made a name for him in the local grappling circuit.

Mitchell first made his UFC debut in The Ultimate Fighter: Undefeated Finale against Tyler Diamond. He entered the fight with a 9-0 record and won his 10th fight by unanimous decision.

Currently, he has four wins in the UFC after the company signed him after the Ultimate Fighter season. His overall record stands at an impressive 14-0 with his last win coming against the experienced Andre Fili.
