What photos are not for show as the WWE Thunderdome banned image list is revealed?

WWE has some strict guidelines regarding their Thunderdome and their banned image list was brought up

The Thunderdome might be one of WWE’s biggest projects in recent years and it has done a great job so far.

The lack of fans in WWE shows was a problem as it affected the atmosphere. Fans couldn’t travel to arenas due to Covid-19 fears but WWE found a way to deal with that.

Out came the Thunderdome where fans could virtually see the action and share their reactions too.

It basically featured several screens fit around the stadium and the faces of the fans could be seen on the screens. Virtual free tickets for the shows would get sold out in minutes, highlighting the success of this.

However, with any new technology there have to be some problems. One of the earlier issues with the Thunderdome was unwanted content being aired on TV.

AEW logos, Chris Benoit and even some rather gruesome crime videos were shown on the Thunderdome.

WWE has acted fast to control such images and a list of banned images were shared a few days back.

TFG, who helped develop the Thunderdome, recently won an award for this at the 2020 SPORTEL awards.

TFG then released a video to highlight all work taken to make the project a success each night. However, some eagle-eyed viewers caught a glimpse of some pieces of paper and that highlighted what can and cannot be shown in the Thunderdome.

The faces and logos of some rivals and former wrestlers were part of the papers. Impact Wrestling, AEW and NJPW makes sense since they are direct rivals of WWE.

AEW stars Cody Rhodes and Brandi Rhodes were also present on the list while The Young Bucks also made the banned list.

Jim Cornette, Alberto del Rio, CM Punk, Chris Benoit, Ryback, Ashley Massaro, Vickie Guerrero and a few flags of countries were also part of the banned list.

WWE certainly doesn’t want unwanted logos and faces to appear on the show. It was a bit of a surprise seeing Punk’s name on the paper, given that he is now with Fox Sports and has participated on Backstage.
