Giannis Antetokounmpo said something on Sunday that Milwaukee Bucks supporters might find unsettling in the future.
On “The Sports Zone” on FOX 32 Chicago, Giannis Antetokounmpo made it seem as though he would be open to joining the Chicago Bulls in the future. The two-time MVP mentioned the NBA history of the Bulls as one of the elements that kept Chicago a desirable location for him.
“Anyone who plays basketball and is asked that question, in my opinion, would be lying if he responded “no.” It’s a team that has won numerous championships, one of the best players ever to play this game on the team, if not the best player ever, “he said.
“It goes without saying that everyone wants to play for Chicago. You never know what will happen later. You never know what the future holds. I might join the Chicago team. But I’m committed to Milwaukee right now.” he concluded.
Over the past few seasons, Antetokounmpo has been among the NBA’s most dominant players.
One of the NBA’s most dominant players is the superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks. He has advanced significantly by sticking with the Bucks. He had the opportunity to leave the Bucks a few years ago, but he decided to sign an extension. Before the start of the 2021–22 season, he agreed to a five-year, $228 million contract deal, so if he were to join Chicago in the future, it wouldn’t be until he was in his 30s.
At the 2013 NBA Draft, Milwaukee selected Antetokounmpo with the No. 15 overall choice. Over the course of his career, he has averaged 21.8 points, 9.4 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 1.3 blocks, and 1.2 steals a game while being an All-Star for the last six seasons.
The film “Rise” was based on the true tale of Antetokounmpo and his brothers Thanasis and Kostas moving to Greece from Nigeria to pursue their NBA dreams.
Giannis led the Bucks to the NBA Championship in the 2021 playoffs, demonstrating that he made the right choice. Most people believed that Giannis would continue to wear a Bucks jersey after their incredible championship run.
