Khabib Nurmagomedov’s MMA promotion Eagle FC will be having its first event on American soil. Eagle FC 44 is set to take place on the 28th of January at the FLX Arena in Miami, Florida.

New recruit Tyrone Spong is set to headline the event. The Dutch heavyweight kickboxer will take on Sergei Kharitonov.

The co-main event features UFC Hall of Famer Rashad Evans squaring off against Gabriel Checco in a light-heavyweight contest.

Another UFC fighter – Ray Borg, fought twelve times in the promotion features in the main card as well. He will take on Cody Gibson (also a former UFC fighter) in a bantamweight bout.

Khabib recently introduced a new weight class as well, a month before. The 165 lbs division will be called the super lightweight division.

Several analysts notably ‘The Bad Guy’ Chael Sonnen was recently roped in.

When and Where to watch Eagle FC 44?

The event is set to start at 6 pm ET/3 pm PT on the 28th of January in the United States. Ones in the United Kingdom must tune in at 11 pm GMT.

Indian fans can catch the action live at 4:30 am IST (29th of January).

Live streaming is provided for free on the FLXcast app. The official website Eaglefc.com streams the fight live as well.
