The next tournament for Khabib Nurmagomedov’s league Eagle FC will take place on December 10, and it will be held in Kazakhstan this time. This event will be held in honour of Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov and will be dedicated to his memory. The middleweight title fight between Faridun Odilov and Dauren Ermekov will serve as the main event of the evening.
They attempted to organise this fight way back in the spring, but it didn’t end up happening; at that time, Ermekov was supposed to replace Alexander Shlemenko. Although Faridun previously held the title of champion in this division for Eagle FC, Dauren is currently in possession of the interim belt. Unfortunately for Odilov, he was unable to make the required weight, and as a result, the title was taken away from him. The fight will go forward, but only Ermekov will have a shot at winning the belt; if Faridul prevails, the title of champion will be open for challengers to claim.
On the UDAR TV channel, you can watch live broadcasts of all of the fights taking place in the Eagle FC 51 tournament, including the main event between Odilov and Ermekov. The broadcast will begin at 15:00 local time in Moscow.
Faridun Odilov
The Tajik fighter came to mixed martial arts from sambo, where he managed to achieve serious success – he is a five-time champion of Tajikistan in this sport, a silver medalist of the Asian Championship and a bronze medalist of the Asian Games.
In professional MMA, Faridun last lost in 2018, then he could not offer anything to the best Kazakh fighter, who is now making noise in the UFC, Shavkat Rakhmonov. After that, Odilov won six fights in a row (three ahead of schedule), including two in Eagle FC – a submission from Sergei Kalinin and a technical knockout in the first round from the Spaniard Torres.
Dauren Ermekov
Dauren’s fighting style is not the most spectacular, but he is a high-class fighter. It was he who inflicted the first defeats in his career to Sergei Kalinin and Nutsalkhan Umakhanov, and in Russia they spoke loudly about him when he managed to achieve a fight with Vladimir Mineev, who, however, expectedly lost.
Ermekov was already the interim champion of the GFC promotion before being bought out by Khabib Nurmagomedov. In the new league, the belts were played from scratch, but he again took this temporary title for himself, scoring two confident victories, the last by a technical knockout over Gamzat Hiramogomedov.

The event is set to start on Saturday 12.10.2022 at 07:00 AM ET in the United States. Ones in the United Kingdom must tune in at 12 pm GMT.
