WWE Survivor Series 2019 is set to be one of the biggest events of the year thanks to all that has transpired over the past three weeks or so.
The WWE special is normally Raw vs SmackDown PPV with several inter-brand matches. However, this year NXT has entered the ring and has left a big mark ahead of the show.
Adam Cole, The Undisputed Era, Matt Riddle, Shayna Baszler, Keith Lee and a host of other stars have invaded SmackDown and Raw.
NXT also saw its own invasion when The OC (and AJ Styles) brought the house down during a recent show with a six-man tag match.
WWE PPVs often see the best matches of the entire year, and there are some top quality fights already scheduled for Survivor Series 2019.
Allstate Arena in Rosemont Illinois will be home to Survivor Series on 24 November, 2019.
This will be the first Survivor Series to feature all three WWE brands on the same night and is the 33rd event to take place under the name.
Survivor Series 2018 featured 10 matches in total with one 10-on-10 elimination match taking place in the pre-show.
The PPV has confirmed five matches featuring all three WWE brands.
However, these could be changed or scrapped depending on how the storyline progresses in the coming weeks.
Injuries can also take place before the PPV, and one of the biggest clashes sees Brock Lesnar fight Rey Mysterio for the WWE Championship.
Mysterio attacked The Beast after his title bout at Crown Jewel.
Lesnar defeated Cain Velasquez and went in to attack the former MMA star. However, Mysterio came in to save Velasquez and is set to face The Beast for the title.
Baszler attacked Bayley on SmackDown and the NXT champion confronted Becky Lynch to confirm a triple threat match.
The three women champions will face off at Survivor Series 2019 but the titles will not be on the line.
The tag champions from the three brands will face each other too at the PPV.
The Viking Raiders (Raw) vs The New Day (SmackDown) vs The Undisputed Era (NXT).
Update: A triple threat match was announced between three champions.
AJ Styles (US Champion) vs Shinsuke Nakamura (Intercontinental Champion) vs Roderick Strong (NXT North American Champion)
Update 3: Survivor Series 2019 will feature another big match with Bray Wyatt defending his Universal title against Daniel Bryan.
Survivor Series is known for its 5-on-5 matches and two have been confirmed so far.
Raw vs SmackDown vs NXT is the flavour for this PPV, and this could be an explosive couple of matches, to say the least.
SmackDown confirmed Sasha Banks as the captain for their women’s team. Dana Brooke and Carmella were recently included in the team.
NXT and Raw are yet to share the details regarding their five-member teams.
Raw confirmed Seth Rollins as their captain for the 5-on-5 clash. NXT and SmackDown haven’t shared any details regarding their teams.
Update: The Raw team is complete with Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens, Randy Orton and Ricochet joining Rollins.
Update 2: The SmackDown team was confirmed with Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, Mustafa Ali, Baron Corbin and Shorty G.
More details of the matches will be added to the piece once they are announced ahead of Survivor Series.
