Fortnite has plenty of locations and landmarks. Some landmarks have been vital and they are the key to storylines for future Fortnite chapters and seasons. Apparatus is a new Landmark that’s added to Rumble Ruins and Mega City. It was created by The Ancients and is also a ruin that no players are able to explore and enter. Apparatus are glowing ruins and you can also find some Prisms over there.
Apparatus was added to the last Fortnite patch update v25.00 and it’s an ancient temple in the jungle biome. There’s also a Telescope on top of the apparatus. Doctor Slone, The Luminaries, Trace, and Optimus Prime are all working secretly on the Apparatus projector as it can change the future of Fortnite.
The glowing apparatus uses Kinetic Ore Prisms and it was used by The Ancients to spot the Eclipse. Apparatus keeps spawning in different Fortnite locations and explorers hardly discover more about this landmark.
Apparatus spawns in the Jungle Biome and it sparkles at night. Currently, the Apparatus is supercharged and activated as well. There are some Fortnite quests based on the Apparatus and you need to interact with some NPC characters as well. Apparatus is a stellar projector and it can even predict the future lore and storylines by looking at the sky or moon. It just requires a single secret to predict the future of islands. Here’s where you can find the Apparatus,
- You can find the Apparatus in two locations. Head towards the East of Rumble Ruins and meet NPC, Trace, to locate the landmark
- Apparatus is also seen in the Mega City. Travel towards the northeast of the Mega City and find the Kinetic Ore Prisms to find its exact location
You have to complete an Explorer questline. The Prism Apparatus secret quest is all about finding Hidden Kinetic Prisms. Prisms spawn towards the west of the temple. Take the mysterious Prism object to Trace who’s at the other side of the Apparatus. You can find the Audio Recorder of Doctor Slone, an interactable item in Fortnite that reveals more about the Prisms as well. Trace will be at the top of the temple. Find him on the roofs and hand over all prisms to complete this secret questline.
Apparatus is active and the Runes have started glowing as well. The Ancients are planning to upgrade it with the help of Slone and the Luminaries. There are plans to reconstruct runes of the glowing apparatus.
More updates regarding the Apparatus are expected soon as it’s going to play a major role in the next season as well.
Earlier, there were plans to take forward the storylines with Apparatus through Fortnite Live Event. The latest news suggests there won’t be any exclusive live event in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 as well.
