Dandelions can be found across the overworld of the Genshin Impact, particularly in the meadows of the Mondstadt. While finding these common plants isn’t difficult, collecting Dandelion Seeds in the game needs an additional step.
Dandelion seeds are an important resource in the game because they can be used for a number of recipes, ascensions, and commissions. Dandelions grow freely in Genshin Impact, although there are a few locations where players can go if they want to farm some dandelion seeds.
You will need to attack the plant with an Anemo ability to collect Dandelion Seeds in Genshin Impact. Anemo attacks will release the seeds, which you can collect easily. Sucrose is good for farming Dandelion because she can hit them with her normal attack rather than waiting for Elemental Skill cooldowns. You can also use the Traveler if you don’t have any other Anemo characters from Wishes yet. Just make sure that your Traveler’s active Element is Anemo rather than Geo.
In the Mondstadt area, there are 52 Dandelion Seeds you can farm. Take a look at the map to find where they are all. Keep in mind that Dandelion Seeds respawn after 48 hours or two days.
You can find plenty of Dandelion Seeds right outside the Monstadt gate. Then simply teleport to the spots below to get more seeds.

Unfortunately, the Dandelion Seeds in this area are not concentrated in one area. So you will need to travel around quite a bit.
Dandelion Seeds are mainly required as Ascension materials for Jean and Eula. You will need 168 Dandelion Seeds to fully ascend a character to level 90. Apart from that, you will also need Dandelion seeds for the Anemoculus Resonance Stone, Windbarrier Potion and Gushing Essential Oil. Here are the complete recipes for these items.
You can also buy them from Karpillia as well. This NPC can be found in the town of Ritou, Inazuma. For 60,000 Mora, she sells five Dandelion Seeds. She will replenish her supply every three days while her stock is low.
