Who has won the most F1 races at the Canadian GP?
Until today, Lewis Hamilton and Michael Schumacher have the most F1 wins at the Canadian Grand Prix. Each of these two drivers has won the race in Canada 7 times.
Schumacher won his first Canadian GP with Benetton-Ford in 1994 and then won six more races at this venue with Ferrari. Meanwhile, Lewis Hamilton won three races in Canada racing for McLaren-Mercedes and four more with the sole Mercedes outfit.
Former Brazilian racecar driver Nelson Piquet won three races in Canada as well. The likes of Ayrton Senna, Jackie Stewart, Pedro Rodrigues, Alan Jones and Jacky Ickx are also among former drivers to have won the race twice. Sebastian Vettel is also one of the current drivers to claim victory twice at the Canadian GP twice.
In terms of Constructors, Ferrari has seen the most number of victories at the Canadian GP, with 14 honours. McLaren is in second place with 13 race wins at the Canadian GP.
