Hogwarts Legacy is one of the most anticipated games in 2023. The game is based on the popular Harry Potter franchise and will release on February 20th, 2023. Hogwarts Legacy doesn’t have the prominent characters from Harry Potter, instead, the locations and houses will be available to explore. There are 4 different houses in Hogwarts Legacy and the storyline begins in the house where you decide to move in. Every house in Hogwarts Legacy is built in a grandeur way. Before the game releases, you need to find out which house is the best to commence your epic journey. The 4 houses won’t have major differences, the only difference is the Robe and Necktie colors of your characters along with the common rooms and entry points. And the storyline and quests both will be the same for every house in Hogwarts Legacy. You can also shift from one to the other whenever you wish to. To choose your house, you will have to complete a quiz after launching Hogwarts Legacy.
Best House in Hogwarts Legacy
As of now, there are 4 in Hogwarts Legacy. And before its release, you need to know everything about the houses that will also help you to choose the best set of challenges in the game.
After launching Hogwarts Legacy, you need to enter the dining room hall to meet the Sorting Hat and choose your favorite. You need to pick one among the 4 houses of Hogwarts Legacy which are, Slytherin, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw. You can either take on the Sorting Hat Quiz or link your WB Games official account to choose your house. The sorting hat quiz will include four options,
- Loyalty (Hufflepuff)
- Bravery (Gryffindor)
- Curiosity (Ravenclaw)
- Ambition (Slytherin)
Do remember that you can only change your house twice after linking your account in Hogwarts Legacy. After sorting into the house, your journey in Hogwarts Legacy begins.
Slytherin
Slytherin is the house of Ambition. Salazar Slytherin built this house which has a large serpent as its logo. The Slytherin house’s trait is ambition and the colors of this house are silver and green. If you choose Slytherin as your house, then you have a great chance of interacting with fifth-year students like Sebastian Sallow and Ominis Gaunt. Apart from the common room and dress colors, Slytherin is akin to all the other houses in Hogwarts Legacy. Slytherin house prompts you to aim more and you will be raring to go for new challenges in the game.
Hufflepuff
Founded by Helga Hufflepuff, Hufflepuff house is denoted by the logo of the animal Badger and this house belongs to Earth element. You are likely to meet up with Poppy Sweeting. The common room location for Hufflepuff is the basement area and this house is represented by the colors yellow and black. Hufflepuff is the room of loyalty. This is another great choice and you can go with Hufflepuff house if you need loyalty and integrity in the game.
Ravenclaw
Ravenclaw, the curiosity room prompts you to think about every happening in Hogwarts Legacy. Ravenclaw, the Air elemental room is denoted by a large eagle logo and this room is Blue and Bronze in color. You will meet various unique NPCs during the challenges. Founded by Rowena Ravenclaw owner, the common room is located in the Ravenclaw Gower. Ravenclaw house is for those wizards and witches who look forward to something new and unique. You will be tempted to find new people and challenges in the game.
Gryffindor
The fire elemental house, Gryffindor is the house where bravery is the main trait for the students. The room is denoted by the symbol of a roaring Lion. Built by Godric Gryffindor, this is the house where you will be more courageous and brave. Your positive trait in the game tends to increase more in this Gryffindor house. The red and gold color house is one of the best houses to explore and begin your journey. Find the common room by exploring the Gryffindor Tower zone.

Hogwarts Legacy Release Date and Platforms
Hogwarts Legacy from the team of Avalanche Software and Warner Bros Games is coming to PlayStation 5, XBOX X/S, and Windows on February 10, 2023. While PlayStation 4 and XBOX One players will be able to enjoy the game from April 4, 2023. Hogwarts Legacy is also releasing for Nintendo Switch, the release date is scheduled for July 25, 2023.
