‘Fighting with My Family’ is a WWE special based on Paige and features several non-WWE cast members
WWE star Paige was the subject of the biographical sports-drama film ‘Fighting with My Family’ and it featured some top-notch cast members too.
The 2019 release highlights the struggles that Paige went through as she started her wrestling career in England.
The former Divas champion didn’t have it easy making it into the WWE, and things have only been made tougher due to some serious injuries.
Paige hasn’t wrestled in over two years but has taken up several non-wrestling roles in the WWE.
She does appear on Backstage regularly and has been the manager for several wrestlers too. Paige was also the GM of Raw for a while.
Cast of Fighting with My Family
The lead role of Paige sees Florence Pugh starring and Tori Ellen Ross is the younger version of the WWE star.
Jack Lowden plays the role of Zak Knight, Paige’s brother while British star Nick Frost is Zack and Paige’s father Patrick Knight.
Lena Headey stars as Julia Knight, the mother of Paige and Zack while Vince Vaughan, a top Hollywood star, acts as WWE agent and coach Hutch Morgan.
This being a WWE production also features several stars such as The Rock, as himself, and the People’s Champion provided advice in the movie to Paige and her brother.
Zelina Vega also got some decent minutes in the move as she was shown as former WWE divas champion AJ Lee.
Big Show, Sheamus and The Miz also had cameo appearances in the movie while JBL, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler provided commentary for a fight between the on-screen pair of Paige and Lee.
There was a lot of archival footage from WWE shows which feature John Cena and other WWE stars.
The movie ends with a lot of real-life footage of the Knight family too.
