Fighting with My Family’ is a WWE special based on Paige and features several non-WWE cast members

WWE star Paige was the subject of the biographical sports-drama film ‘Fighting with My Family’ and it featured some top-notch cast members too.

The 2019 release highlights the struggles that Paige went through as she started her wrestling career in England.

The former Divas champion didn’t have it easy making it into the WWE, and things have only been made tougher due to some serious injuries.

Paige hasn’t wrestled in over two years but has taken up several non-wrestling roles in the WWE.

She does appear on Backstage regularly and has been the manager for several wrestlers too. Paige was also the GM of Raw for a while.

Cast of Fighting with My Family

The lead role of Paige sees Florence Pugh starring and Tori Ellen Ross is the younger version of the WWE star.

Jack Lowden plays the role of Zak Knight, Paige’s brother while British star Nick Frost is Zack and Paige’s father Patrick Knight.

Lena Headey stars as Julia Knight, the mother of Paige and Zack while Vince Vaughan, a top Hollywood star, acts as WWE agent and coach Hutch Morgan.

This being a WWE production also features several stars such as The Rock, as himself, and the People’s Champion provided advice in the movie to Paige and her brother.

Zelina Vega also got some decent minutes in the move as she was shown as former WWE divas champion AJ Lee.

Big Show, Sheamus and The Miz also had cameo appearances in the movie while JBL, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler provided commentary for a fight between the on-screen pair of Paige and Lee.

The movie ends with a lot of real-life footage of the Knight family too.

Movie reception and response

Fighting with My Family made $39.1 million from across the world after having a budget of $11m.

It didn’t have the biggest openings across the world and was mostly concentrated in the US and Canada.

Although the movie wasn’t released in other territories, it does have some great ratings on Rotten Tomatoes with a 92% approval rating from 199 reviews.

Audiences from CinemaScore gave the film an A- rating while Postrak have it a positive score of 83%.

The movie is available on either Netflix or Amazon, depending on your location, and it should be available on the WWE network too for those that don’t use the earlier mentioned platforms.
