‘The Hurt Business’ is the latest heel faction on WWE Raw

Monday Night’s episode of WWE Raw, post the The Horror Show at Extreme Rules PPV, was an eventful one. Of the storylines that were furthered, we also got to see a new heel faction take shape on the Red Brand – The Hurt Business.

The faction is being led by self-proclaimed WWE United States Champion MVP, with two superstars by his side.

Ever since MVP became a regular presence on WWE, he has been trying to build a faction and has approached multiple superstars to join him. While he hasn’t always seen success in his endeavours, things seem to be finally falling into place for him.

Which WWE Superstars are part of The Hurt Business?

MVP first got Bobbly Lashley on-board, with his presence helping the All Mighty gather great momentum and go onto challenge Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship. While Lashley ended up losing to the champ, aligning himself with MVP has clearly worked well for him.

In the past weeks, MVP tried to recruit the likes of Apollo Crews, Cedric Alexander and Ricochet. But, he had met with refusals all around. However, he was finally able to add another member to his heel stable this Monday, with Shelton Benjamin joining hands.

It all started when MVP and Lashley tried to intimidate R-Truth backstage, giving a feeling that they were eyeing the 24/7 Championship. But, it was only being set up for Benjamin to attack Truth and pin him to grab the title.

In the aftermath, Benjamin, who had been approached by MVP in the past, decided to accept his offer. Thus, he became the latest member of ‘The Hurt Business’.

Not the best start for The Hurt Business

Soon after the heel-trio were in action against the team of Cedric Alexander, Ricochet and Mustafa Ali, who has been moved to Raw. The Hurt Business had their moments in the match, but it was the babyfaces that came out on top, with Ali pinning MVP.

While things may have begun with a defeat, it will be interesting to see what lies next for The Hurt Business.
