The Qatar Grand Prix made its first appearance in the 2021 championship at the Lusail International Circuit. However, it was not part of the 2022 season due to the 2022 FIFA World Cup taking place in Qatar. Nevertheless, it’s set to make a comeback in 2023, thanks to a 10-year contract.
