This quest-exclusive NPC appears only in Chapter III of the Archon Quests. The Sumeru Promotional Video shows him wielding a sword. Alhaitham is a member of the Sumeru Akademiya’s Haravatat. Alhaitham invited the architect Kaveh to stay at his home after he went bankrupt despite creating the Palace of Alcazarzaray, which he accepted.
As an individual who has renounced ownership of a supposedly Divine Knowledge Capsule, Alhaitham is only interested in studying what interests him. Genshin Impact Alhaitham Release Date
In addition to his past relationship with Zhongli, his story is relatively unknown, so it’s likely he’s older. He is considered to possess a genius level of intellect and is part of Sumeru’s Akedemiya’s Haravatat. This branch of the institute is devoted to studying runes, ruins, and ancient artifacts.
The first wave of new characters in Version 3.0 are Tighnari, Dori, and Collei. Alhaitham is expected to release later in Version 3, possibly in update 3.6.
In accordance with the leak, Alhaitham and Baizhu will not arrive until Genshin Impact 3.6, which is expected to arrive around April 2023 if HoYoverse follows its usual update schedule. Considering that Alhaitham is a member of the Haravatat of the Sumeru Academya and is part of the ongoing Sumeru quest lines, it caught many players by surprise.
According to the official story, Alhaitham resides with Kaveh, a well-known Sumeru architect who lost everything despite having built the renowned Palace of Alcazarzaray.
Genshin Impact Alhaitham Leaks: Vision, Weapon, and skills
Being a Sumerian, Alhaitham will be able to use a Dendro Vision. Other new characters are also the same, as the region is famous for its Dendro users, much like Inazuma’s Electro Visions.
There are two skills and a passive ability for every Genshin Impact character. One of the skills is a stronger attack and takes a longer time to charge. There are no leaks regarding Alhaitham’s specific skills for now.
Sumeru’s videos have confirmed that he will be using a sword as his weapon type. There is also a teaser showing him fighting Cyno, which indicates their feud will be a major topic in the upcoming Genshin Impact update. Due to the fact that the Sumeru region is loosely based in Southwest Asia, his unusual name appears to have been inspired by an Arab scientist named Ibn Al-Haytham.
It’s possible that HoYoverse picked Alhaitham’s name because of the scientist’s work with vision. He’s renowned as the father of modern optics and is credited with discoveries that significantly advanced the science of optometry.
