Who is Regis Harris? He is a 17-year-old high school student studying in Georgia currently got famous for his outstanding academic work.
He wished to attend college, but he never dreamt of getting into many colleges and universities eyeing his talents. In an interview with Atlanta News first, he said, “I’m so blessed to have this opportunity, there were several schools at the top of my list.”
He received acceptance letters from more than 40 colleges and universities across the state, as well as he received $1.6 million in scholarships. The most famous schools like the University of Georgia and the University of South California are also on the list of universities that have sent the acceptance letter to the 17-year-old boy.
When asked about the success and how he achieved it, to this he replied, “It was a lot of sacrifices, there were a lot of nights I stayed up studying all night long.”

As a senior at Chapel Hill High School, Regis did not only he excelled at academics. Regis Harris was also a member of the school band, chess club, varsity track team, and honor society. While working at a part-time job and singing in the church choir, he still landed a 4.0 GPA.
His motto is of service to the community and at the same time is academically gifted. According to him, “The hardest part for me has been finding a balance with work while being a well-rounded person.”
At birth, he was a very sick child but he overcame all those difficulties and surpassed it all. His parents couldn’t be any more proud of his achievements and stated that he is a fighter since birth.
At the question of what he wants to pursue next and what college he wants to attend, to this, he said that he is planning to attend North Carolina A&T and read biology to become a good psychiatrist one day.
