Luke Harper AKA Brodie Lee made his AEW debut as The Exalted One of the Dark Order
Although this week’s AEW Dynamite episode took place without any fans and in a new location, there still was time for one big reveal from the Dark Order.
The stable had been teasing the coming of The Exalted One for several weeks and the star finally made his debut on Dynamite.
SoCal Uncensored weren’t impressed with Evil Uno and his moves to amp up the Exalted One. Christopher Daniels even claimed that there is no such thing but a video started playing right after that.
A bearded person was seen on the video and it was none other that former WWE star Luke Harper.
Harper is now going with the name of Brodie Lee, from his independent circuit days, and he was present in the ring too.
The former Intercontinental Champion made a huge impact on his AEW debut as he demolished SoCal Uncensored rather easily.
Lee claimed that The Dark Order does what they want and when they want, and when he wants something, he takes it.
There were some suggestions that Matt Hardy would be the Exalted One given his Broken Matt Hardy gimmick and the fact that he also left WWE recently.
However, Hardy teamed up with The Elite at the end of the show as they face the Inner Circle at Blood & Guts.
As for Lee, this is a great chance for him to become a top performer, with the right push.
WWE didn’t always make the best use of Harper during his days with the company. He is a great worker in the ring and talented on the microphone too, but they seem to prefer Erick Rowan over his former tag partner.
Lee was one of several WWE stars released from their contracts a few months ago. After playing out his no-competition duration, he is back on the hottest thing on TV right now.
The Dark Order is a heel stable with a penchant for the weird and scary. Lee is a great fit, but it will be interesting to see if he can lead the stable.
Evil Uno and Stu Grayson have known each other for years while Alex Reynolds and John Silver have been a pair for a while.
AEW has several quality stables in their ranks and the addition of Lee gives them another big name to push. SoCal Uncensored seems to be in the firing lines for The Dark Order at the moment.
WWE just didn’t get behind Lee a lot of times and wasted his talent. However, this is the perfect time for him to show off his skills and become a top dog at AEW.
