The Fiend pulled off a great win at WrestleMania 36 and there could be one big name next
WrestleMania 36 wasn’t expected to be a great event due to the lack of fans and being held in the Performance Center. However, WWE hit the ball out of the park with a fantastic show over two days.
While some stories got the perfect ending, such as Drew McIntyre winning the WWE title or Otis finally getting on with Mandy Rose, others raised questions for the future.
One of them has to be the incredible Firefly Fun House match between John Cena and The Fiend Bray Wyatt.
While we have spoken at length about how great this match was, the big question is what is up for the Fiend next?
Cena seems set to be on hiatus for a while, and The Fiend deserves another big match soon. There aren’t many top stars on SmackDown who haven’t taken on Wyatt, but it would make sense for one newly crowned champion to take on his former mentor.
The Monster vs The Fiend
The Fiend has a habit of going into the psyche of his opponents and it would be amazing to see him face Braun Strowman.
Goldberg was easily defeated by Strowman as he finally became the WWE Universal champion. That should have happened a couple of years ago when The Monster was on a crazy push, but WWE wasted the chance then.
Winning this title doesn’t seem all that great since Roman Reigns was supposed to face Goldberg. However, the Big Dog pulled out of WrestleMania 36 due to his past health problems and being more at risk of contracting the coronavirus.
Healthy comes first and what Reigns did was right, but Strowman vs Wyatt makes a lot of sense now.
Let him in
Not to forget, it was with Wyatt that Strowman made his name. He was part of the Wyatt family and before being drafted and starting his singles career.
Strowman seems unbeatable at the moment, and apart from Reigns, no one else can match up physically with him.
The Fiend would be the ideal opponent to face Strowman. Not only can he used his crazy mind games to get the better of Strowman, he also has an edge as the pair have a history.
Wyatt and WWE creative proved they can put up a great match without much wrestling. And this should be the next proper feud on SmackDown.
The way Wyatt lost the title to Goldberg still hurts. However, this rivalry could become one of the best in the coming months.
