Here is everything you should know about who suffered a broken neck in WWE recently
We have seen many legitimate injuries taking place in pro wrestling over the years. The matches and moves may be scripted but the blows and falls they endure are for real – here is everything you should know about who suffered a neck injury in WWE recently.
We have seen promising Superstars like Paige, Corey Graves, Sasha Banks, Asuka, and many other superstars who received injuries during recent times.
Some had been cleared to wrestle while others have had to stay out of the squared circle for an indefinite time. Edge made a remarkable return to in-ring competition in 2020 after a 9-year break caused due to injuries he faced earlier on in his career.
While most of the moves are executed to perfection sometimes it’s quite possible that the timing goes awry and accidents happen. Everything happens live in front of the audience.
This week on SmackDown, Big E teamed up with Kofi Kingston to take on Sheamus and Ridge Holland. They have been feuding for the last few weeks.
During a scuffle outside the ring, Holland delivered a belly-to-belly suplex on Big E. Unfortunately, Big E couldn’t rotate his body entirely to land on his back. Instead, he suffered a devastating landing as he hit the mat head-first. The top part of Big E’s head hit the mat and it made for painful viewing.
Everyone was concerned about Big E’s health as he was stretchered out of the arena and taken to a medical facility afterward.
Big E later posted a video on his Twitter handle thanking his fans and well-wishers for their constant support. He said he was fine but revealed that doctors informed him that he has suffered a broken neck.
Big E was wearing a neck brace but was in good spirits and assured everyone that he will be back soon. The former WWE champion is a very popular and lovable figure in WWE. Many of his colleagues from WWE and superstars from other promotions sent their good thoughts.
Alexa Bliss, Adam Cole, Naomi, Sasha Banks, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and many other superstars tweeted their support and prayers for the member of The New Day.
We hope to see E recovering soon and compete in the ring and entertain us like always.
