The 30-man Royal Rumble was a mega event. Let’s have a look at what happened at the event and who the WWE Royal Rumble 2013?

Road to WrestleMania officially begins with the Royal Rumble event. The year 2013 had some of the most amazing matchups, and it took place in Phoenix. 

Irrespective of the Royal Rumble event, some of the most fascinating matches included Alberto Del Rio taking on The Big Show, Team Hell No comprising Kane and Daniel Bryan defeating Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow (The Rhodes Scholars).

One of the biggest matches of that night was ‘The Most Electrifying Man in the World The Rock squaring off against ‘The Best in the World’ CM Punk. The Rock made a terrific comeback after Punk’s dominant performance and in the end, won the match with the most electrifying move “The People’s elbow” and after 10 years became the WWE Champion.

The epic event of the night started with Dolph Ziggler and Chris Jericho, who put on a great fight to start the proceedings but eventually, Jericho was eliminated by Ziggler.

Sheamus, Bo Dallas, Kofi Kingston and Orton put on a memorable performance. Some of the surprise entrants included Goldust and The Godfather, who didn’t stay much as they were tossed shortly.

John Cena entered at No.19 and looked in prime form from the go. It was very crowded in the middle when Ryback came in at the lucky final entry. He seriously cleared house by eliminating Damien Sandow, The Miz, Sin Cara, Randy Orton and Sheamus. They almost had the win as they put on a great show.

However, in the end, Cena could get the big man Ryback over the ropes for the win. The event was incredibly epic and went for 55-minutes.
