Why did Kevin Nash retire? Former WWE and WCW star explains how injury affected his career

WWE star Kevin Nash shared why had to retire in a recent Twitter update

Former WWE and WCW star Kevin Nash spoke about why he had to retire from the business despite still being younger than some other performers.

Ric Flair wrestled well into his 60s but Nash hasn’t done as much over the past decade or so. Big Sexy won several titles during his time in WCW and WWE/WWF and has made sporadic appearances in recent years.

Nash posted an image on Twitter regarding his decision to retire and he also let rip on some who questioned why he wasn’t wrestling.

The member of the nWo and Kliq spoke about how deformed he became by wrestling and the hard work he had to do after knee replacement surgery.

The pictures do tell the complete story. Nash’s right knee seems to be bent in the wrong way and it is a surprise how he is able to stand to take the snap.

The other picture sees him back after the surgery and the difference is there for all to see.

Nash has been part of some of the biggest factions in the history of wrestling and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2015.

He will be inducted again in 2020 as part of the nWo with the rest of the faction members. Nash won multiple titles during his time in WWE and was the Heavyweight champion once.

The 60-year-old also spent time with Independent promotions and his last match came in 2018. He beat Flex Armstrong to win the Big Time Wrestling Heavyweight title.

Nash hasn’t wrestled since and it makes sense that he worked on himself and he looks to be in decent shape.
