Nate Diaz landed his infamous Stockton slap on a ‘Full Send’ reporter, although the reason is still unclear

Nate Diaz is not a guy to be messed with. A fighter famous for the infamous Stockton slap and many brawls inside and outside the octagon, Diaz does not tolerate any jesting or diablerie. He was seen making an appearance at UFC 276, alongside longtime teammates, and MMA legends Jake Shields and Gilbert Melendez.

Full Send MMA is a part of the ‘Full Send’ banner under Nelk, also referred to as the Nelk Boys, a Canadian-American YouTube channel and entertainment company. They are known for their prank videos, vlogs, and podcasts.

Shawn Mack, a reporter for the Full Send MMA channel was seen all week interviewing fighters and the biggest names in the game. He was also seen interviewing Khabib Nurmagomedov, who reminded the Nelk Boys about their promise of arranging a rendezvous with basketball legend Michael Jordan.

The reporter caught Diaz backstage for a quick byte, and although things looked convivial, the situation escalated quickly. Shawn Mack asked Nate Diaz whether he’s here to support Sean O’Malley, to which he said NO. A ruffed Diaz added, ”Nig** you better watch your tweets about my team” before smacking the mic, and his hat right off.

Although not much is known about the tweet Diaz is refering to, Shawn Mack had previously made fun of Nicholas Maximov, a young fighter from the Nick Diaz Academy by using the famous TMZ interview, where it appeared like Maximov was caught like a deer in the headlights when Nate suggested his name to fight Khamzat Chimaev.

Nevertheless, it was enough for Diaz to take matter into his own hands. Watch the entire episode below-

‘Send the release’- Nate Diaz and Jake Paul respond to Dana White suggesting the pair should fight each other

Fans of a potential match-up between Nate Diaz and Jake Paul received some good news thanks to UFC President Dana White. Earlier this week Nate Diaz tweeted at the UFC for a fight with ‘anyone’ in an attempt to bust a gut with a move away from the sport. He enclosed the post with a video of Jake Paul knocking out Tyron Woodley in their rematch, suggesting his next move- a mega-fight with the Youtuber turned boxer.

Ahead of UFC’s blockbuster UFC 276 event, Dana White has been speaking to the media as part of promotional activities. White spoke to Oscar Willis from The Mac Life, voicing his opinion about the Diaz vs Paul fight.

White was surprisingly agog and all ears about the idea. He said, “I mean, I like Nate. Let’s be honest, Nate’s won one fight in the last five or six years,” White told TheMacLife. “You know? When these guys get into these positions, you’ve got guys that have been with us for a long time, that we respect, that we care about. You know, you’ve got Cerrones and Anthony Pettis before he left, and you’ve got Nate Diaz and Nick Diaz is still under contract with us. So you want to be fair to everybody, you want to do the right things or whatever. Nate Diaz isn’t going to come in and fight Kamaru Usman.

“So listen, we’re trying to do the best we can. We’re trying not to s*** on anybody and disrespect anybody, but it’s not like we’re talking about Kamaru Usman here. We’re talking about Nate Diaz. Nate’s won one fight in five years, so we’re trying to figure this thing out with him. He probably should go on and fight Jake Paul. That’s a fight that makes sense.”

UFC superstar Nate Diaz and Jake Paul immediately took to Twitter, after receiving the green signal. While Nate was satisfied and full of energy, Paul had an interesting proposal for the UFC.

The Youtuber turned boxer has made it his life mission to improve fighter pay inside the UFC, and has been at loggerheads with the top brass. He had even suggested a one-fight contract in the past that included a moreish bet. Jake Paul has been on a relentless tirade against the UFC and Dana White for fighter’s welfare and better pay. He has made it his mission to speak for the fighters, and many fighters including UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou have openly supported ‘The Problem Child’s’ efforts.

Dana White was also handed a golden opportunity by Paul in the past, which involves a bet. And should the Youtuber turned boxer fail, White and the UFC can be assured that it will be the last they hear of him. ‘

Jake Paul wanted a kick at the can to fight Conor Mcgregor in a one-off deal, and also expressed his willingness to step inside the UFC octagon. He tweeted out an offer to the head honcho of the organization and said,

While Diaz wrote on Twitter, ‘Send the release ’

Paul on the other hand suggested that he wishes to be the last fight of Nate Diaz’s UFC contract. He stated the only conditions he wants in the contract, which is better fighter pay and healthcare.

He wrote, ‘Dana – I’m happy to be Nate’s last fight in UFC. You know the terms: pay fighters more and give them healthcare.

Sweetener: I will fight for free.
