Who is Immanuel Quickley?

Immanuel Jaylen Quickley aka. Immanuel Quickley was the 2020, Round 1, 25th overall draft pick by the Oklahoma City Thunder. However, Quickley was then traded to the New York Knicks.

Quickley plays in the position of Shooting guard / Point guard and he is also named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team (2021).

Before joining college, Quickley played high school basketball at The John Carroll School. Quickley was a phenomenal high school basketball player and was subsequently named a McDonald’s All-American (2018).

Then, Quickley played college basketball for the University of Kentucky from 2018 to 2020. Quickley had a fabulous college career and was named SEC Player of the Year – Coaches (2020) and was also named to the First-team All-SEC (2020).

In his college basketball career, Quickley averaged 10.1 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game.

In 2020, Quickley declared for the 2020 NBA draft, forgoing his college eligibility and he also hired an agent.

After playing college basketball, Quickley was selected twenty-fifth overall in the 2020 NBA Draft by the Oklahoma City Thunder. Later, Quickley was traded to the New York Knicks. On November 28, 2020, the Knicks declared that they had signed Quickley.

Finally, Quickley made his NBA regular-season debut on December 23, 2020.

In his NBA rookie year, that is the 2020-21 season, Quickley played 64 games, averaging 11.4 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game.

In the case of his personal life, Quickley was born in Havre de Grace, Maryland. 22-year-old Quickley is the son of Marcellous Quickley and Nitrease Quickley. Notably, Quickley’s mother, Nitrease, is a former basketball player. Furthermore, Quickley has a sister named Shiloah Quickley.

Interestingly, Quickley is currently single and does not have a girlfriend.
