The Undisputed Era should be making the move to one of the other brands soon
WWE NXT has never seen a faction as dominant and talented as The Undisputed Era in all their years.
Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly met years ago on other circuits and it was only a matter of time before they joined forces in WWE.
NXT hasn’t seen too many stables over the years, simply because wrestlers are pushed to other brands, but The Undisputed Era is something else.
They have been excellent over the two years since their formation, but it might be time for them to move on to another brand too.
Losing control of NXT
The Era has already made history in its short time in WWE. They held all four of the men’s titles on NXT simultaneously until fairly recently.
The North American title, the Tag titles and the NXT title were all under the UE and it was difficult to see them lose control over any of them.
However, they have lost the North American title and the Tag titles with only Cole keeping his NXT crown.
That too is under threat with Velveteen Dream seemingly ready to take over from the leader of the UE.
Cole losing the title seems a realistic possibility now, and that should further accelerate their move away from NXT.
They have already lost grip on two titles and it is only fair that Cole loses his crown before making the move to Raw or SmackDown?
The Red brand or the Blue brand?
Frankly, it would make more sense for the UE to end up on Raw simply because they have more airtime and they can actually make an impact as a team.
However, SmackDown could use a dominant force on its roster too, and they could start by attacking any of the top champions.
The UE has done everything it can on NXT and it is only natural for them to move onto other targets,
They have defeated almost everything in front of them, and no other faction has achieved what they have on NXT so far.
Of course, the fear is that WWE will mess up the transition from NXT to either brand. They have done that in the past with other WWE stars but The Shield was one example where all three members actually looked good for a while.
Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose came through NXT, and the Undisputed Era could turn out to be Shield 2.0.
However, Cole and co have more in the locker than the Shield did, and it will be interesting to see if WWE make this move sooner or later.
The UE are too talented just to stick to NXT for another year, and hopefully, they are seen on another brand quickly.
