According to Daily Record, former Rangers midfielder Derek Ferguson believes that Leeds United could be reviving their interest in Ryan Kent. He was of the belief that with Rangers trying to pursue Scott Wright, the Whites will pursue the Rangers man. Kent has been linked to Marcelo Bielsa’s side for a while now, as the manager remains a fan of the player.
Ryan Kent has established himself as an indispensable cog in Rangers’ attack over the past two seasons. He is currently one of the club’s most prized attacking assets alongside the likes of Ianis Hagi, Kemar Roofe and Alfredo Morelos.
The Oldham-born winger struggled to make a big impact in English football due to a lack of opportunities but has really come to the fore since moving to Rangers, with Gerrard showing a lot of trust in his abilities.
The diminutive winger amassed an impressive 6 goals and 9 assists while on loan at Ibrox during the 2018-19 campaign. That prompted Steven Gerrard to sign the 23-year-old permanently last summer.
It is no secret at this point that Leeds could use a shot in the arm in mid-season. The club have done decently after their promotion but have tailed off a bit in recent weeks. While Marcelo Bielsa is still working well with the players he has, there are certain areas where he could use some new personnel.
The left-wing should be the first and foremost. Jack Harrison is again back on a loan deal from Manchester City and no permanent deal has yet been arranged. Ezgjan Alioski is the only other left-sided wide player in the squad and he has been playing at left-back in recent games. Thus, turning to Ryan Kent would be a good decision here.

Having established himself as one of the best attacking players in Scotland, the 24-year-old is only going to get better with time. Hence, Leeds would be wise to snap up the player if the chance presents itself.
