WWE Rumors: Real reason why Nia Jax was released by WWE possibly revealed

Published by

Nia Jax was one of several stars released by WWE but what was the reason as to why this was done?

WWE continued its streak of releasing talents just when you last expect them too. The mega wrestling company had already cut big names such as Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman in recent months but they don’t seem to be content in cutting their roster.

This time, they cut several main roster and NXT talents. Some names that were cut included top stars such as Karrion Kross, Keith Lee and Nia Jax. All of them were on the main roster with Kross making the move up just a month or so back.

Keith Lee and Mia Yim have both been released by WWE (WWE)

Lee has had his troubles with Covid, and it came as a surprise he too was cut given he returned to action recently.

Jax was the other big name cut, and this came as a bit of a surprise given how she had been in a feud with Shayna Baszler until recently and was even one half of the women’s tag champions.

Jax has had her problems in the ring after a few stars had been injured in her matches. However, no one saw it coming.

Why was Nia Jax released by WWE?

While details remain sketchy as to why so many talents, 18 of them in total, were released, some have claimed this is due to budget cuts.

WWE is still making millions and cutting so many stars is a big surprise. However, the New York Post seems to have spoken to a source who claimed that she was released since she was unvaccinated.

Andrew Zarian (h/t WrestleTalk) added that four of the 18 names released were also due to them not taking the Covid-19 vaccine yet.

Jax was one of the most dominant female talents in WWE, and it will be interesting to see what is next for her.
