Bayley still defended the title against Asuka but caused a DQ to keep the belt. She was later attacked by a returning Sasha Banks.

Jax and Baszler are the WWE Women’s Tag Champions and they were to defend the titles against the Riott Squad.

WWE decided to scarp this match off the card, though Jax and Baszler claimed this was lies.

However, neither of them featured on the show and the match was cancelled.

Covid-19 outbreak hits wrestling

Fightful (h/t 411 Mania) reported that these changes were due to a Covid-19 outbreak that his hit the wrestling world.

WWE, during Clash of Champions, claimed that the trio of stars were not medically cleared to perform. However, they have used this tactic on Apollo Crews too and he was out of action for a while but made a return too.

WWE also released a statement earlier suggesting that anyone that has contracted the virus will have to undergo a 14-day quarantine before returning.

This isn’t the first time WWE has been hit by Covid-19. Renee Young and Kayla Braxton have caught the virus in the past. Young’s husband, Jon Moxley of AEW, also had to undergo quarantine and missed out on a big clash.

It will be interesting to see what is next for the trio. Being out of action for a couple of weeks could see a lot of changes.

Cross might not get another chance at Bayley’s title since Banks is back. However, the tag champs are a different story.

They need to defend their crowns but WWE confirmed that more details will be shared about the championship scene on this week’s Raw.
