Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman seem to be working together after a freaky appearance on this week’s SmackDown
WWE SmackDown ended on a great note as Roman Reigns finally signed the contract to fight at Payback but was seem with Paul Heyman too.
Vince McMahon wanted Adam Pearce to get the signs from Reigns, Braun Strowman and The Fiend ahead of their triple threat match at Payback.

The show ended with Reigns and Heyman together but that was shocking, great and confusing all at once.
The shock
Reigns returning to WWE was great as he attacked his rivals at SummerSlam. The former champion had been away from WWE since WrestleMania due to the coronavirus pandemic. While that took place last week as he targeted the top title, this move was more shocking.
Heyman is one of the greatest speakers and managers in the history of WWE. He has made everyone of his clients a top champion, and him teaming up with Reigns was incredibly surprising given their rivalries in the past.
A great move for Reigns
Pairing up with Heyman more or less guarantees a title. While Reigns might not have needed someone like the Advocate beside him, it does make the package more appealing.
Heyman can put anyone over and there have been two criticisms of Reigns in the past. His wrestling move set isn’t vast and different while his microphone skills aren’t the best.
Heyman made someone like Brock Lesnar the most feared person in WWE. This was before the Beast would enter the ring thanks to Heyman’s excellent speeches.
Reigns is one of the biggest names in WWE but imagine what he can do with Heyman by his side.
A really confusing move
Reigns got a great ovation when he made his WWE return a week back, so it was confusing why he was paired with Heyman.
There is nothing wrong with the pair if it wasn’t for the history between them. Heyman is the Advocate of Lesnar and the Beast has battled with Reigns in the past.
Further, Lesnar isn’t out of WWE, so how could Heyman just switch over alliances to someone he never liked?
What happens to Lesnar in all this? The Beast hasn’t been seen much since losing the title to Drew McIntyre and it raises questions about his future.
Hopefully, a lot more will be learned on the relationship between Reigns and Heyman at Payback and future SmackDown episodes.
