Why Seth Rollins could be the leader of WWE faction Retribution

Retribution caused havoc again on Raw but Seth Rollins could have something to do with all this

Another Raw episode ended with Retribution being a thorn in the side of a few wrestlers. This time, it were the Mysterios who were brutally attacked by the heel faction as the evening ended on WWE Raw.

While we still don’t know who the members of Retribution are, we can speculate on who the leader of it all could be.

One name that has been doing the rounds is Roman Reigns. The Big Dog returned recently at SummerSlam after a long hiatus and the biggest clue to all this was his shirt.

His shirt was more about wrecking stuff and leaving, something he did to The Fiend and Braun Strowman. That is also the same way Retribution have dealt with the SmackDown and Raw shows as they destroy everything in their path and leave.

However, another star could be the one leading them, and that is none other than the Messiah, Seth Rollins.

Leader a new era in WWE

Rollins and Murphy were up against the Mysterios on Raw this week and they escaped the onslaught by the Retribution.

However, instead of going to the back and running away, they stood at the ramp and enjoyed watching their rivals getting beat up.

Retribution didn’t make a huge effort in going after the pair either, and that was a little weird given that the faction has tried to cause massive damage over the weeks.

Another clue highlighted that Rollins could be the leader was that he was rallying the troops on Raw ahead of a possible Retribution attack.

Drew McIntyre wanted to lead the locker room but it was Rollins who also wanted to do the same. Rollins is one of the most clever and scheming wrestlers on the roster, and it was extremely questionable why he wanted to lead the locker room especially when he is a heel.

Rollins has spoken about making sacrifices and doing all of this for the “greater good”. Leading a heel faction to destroy everything in WWE so that he can be one top could certainly be on the agenda.

WWE isn’t giving away much on who the members of Retribution are. However, a cult following Rollins could be possible and if anyone can play this right, it is the Monday Night Messiah.
