Why West Brom should snap up Ahmed Musa on a short-term basis
According to Daily Mail, West Brom are pondering over the prospect of signing Ahmed Musa on a short-term deal. New boss Sam Allardyce is keen on adding to his attacking ranks and is of the opinion that Musa’s inclusion might help. The former Leicester man is also a target for Wolves, Fulham and CSKA Moscow.
West Brom need some more options in attack
West Brom aren’t enjoying the best of times on their return to the top-flight as they sit in the relegation places. They were the first side in the league this season to sack their manager and appoint Sam Allardyce. Their attack and defence have let them down this season.
While they did bring in some reinforcements in the summer, they have still struggled for goals. Matheus Pereira is the club’s leading scorer with 5 goals. The rest have chipped in with a few goals sporadically.
Charlie Austin returned to QPR this month, leaving Sam Allardyce a bit short on options. The new addition of Karlan Grant in the summer is yet to pay off. Adding another striker might just be a huge requirement at this point.
Musa can be worth a punt for West Brom
Ahmed Musa’s last English sojourn with Leicester City wasn’t quite a happy one as he struggled to get games. Even when he did, he struggled to perform. However, he still remains a quality forward option. He has bags of experience in the top-flight and for his country as well.

At 28, he still looks to have enough firepower to help out a side like West Brom. A quality goal-getter, West Brom can take a chance on him given his free-agent status. They would not be losing out on a lot in case this move backfires but could benefit a lot in case it all works out.
