Why Wolves should sign Loren Moron to ease their striker issues
According to Birmingham Mail, Loren Moron is among the numerous strikers to be linked to Wolves. A lot of other strikers such as Lassina Traore, Joshua King and Graziano Pelle have been linked. Wolves are on the lookout for a forward after Raul Jimenez suffered a fractured skull.
Wolves desperately need an established striker
There is simply no way to say how important Jimenez is to Wolves. The Mexican has been their leading man in the league since their promotion. The team has somewhat functioned around him. His injury against Arsenal has put serious question marks on the side’s goalscoring ability. There are hardly any other recognised strikers in the side.
Fabio Silva was brought in but he is still too young to be making a mark. Nuno Espirito Santo has used the likes of Pedro Neto, Adama Traore and Daniel Podence in forward roles. While they have done their best, the team is crying out for a focal point in the attack.
Loren Moron would be a fantastic addition for Wolves
An attempt to sign Loren Moron from Real Betis could well be the answer to their lack of goals. The Spaniard has blossomed into a decent goalscorer in his homeland over the past three seasons, thus making him more than worth a punt.
A track record of 28 goals and 7 assists in 111 appearances can’t be regarded as prolific by any means. While Moron’s consistency in the La Liga has been called into question several times, his ability to score crucial goals certainly can’t be overlooked.
The 27-year-old still has his best years ahead of him and will be expected to make significant improvements to his game moving forward.

Wolves need a forward immediately. There is no return date for Jimenez so far and Fabio Silva looks like he needs more time to get acclimatised to the league. Moron may not be the best option for the side out there, but he is an experienced and effective forward in the Spanish game. Pursuing Loren Moron may not be the worst decision by Wolves to ease their striker woes.
