The Wild Rift Icons Global Championships 2022, which will begin on June 14th, will feature 24 teams competing for the trophy. The League of Legends: Wild Rift will take place at the Suntec Convention and Exhibition Center in Singapore. The event had been planned to take place in Madrid, Spain, at first. The event was relocated to Singapore due to COVID travel restrictions. At the upcoming world series event, 24 teams will compete for the world title and a share of the $2 million USD prize pool.
Eight of the teams participating will advance directly to the group stage, while the remaining 16 will compete in the Play-ins. The Play-ins will be from June 14 to June 18. The group stage will start from June 21 to June 25, and the Knockout will be from July 1 to July 9.

Double-elimination brackets (BO3) will be used in the Play-Ins and Group Stages. A single-elimination bracket will be used for the Knockout, with the Quarterfinals and Semi-Finals being played in best-of-five (BO5) fashion, and the Grand Final in best-of-seven (BO7).
